Event
Ever been caught out by a flat tyre? Help is at hand. A free, hands-on bike maintenance workshop is taking place at Millerhill Community Hub, 6 Cocklerow Loan, Millerhill, EH22 1RZ on Wednesday 17 June from 6:00pm to 8:30pm and everyone is welcome.
Led by a qualified bike mechanic, the friendly evening session will cover the essential skills every cyclist needs to keep their bike running smoothly, including puncture repair and inner tube replacement, wheel removal and refitting, cleaning and lubricating your bike and getting tyre pressures and basic bike care right.
The evening will begin with refreshments and a short introduction before participants get stuck into the practical session, so no experience is needed – just bring your enthusiasm (and your bike).
Places are limited to a maximum of eight participants, so early booking is recommended.
The session is completely free to attend, funded through the Shawfair Community Fund, which supports local projects and activities for the benefit of the Shawfair community. The Fund is backed by contributions from Bellway Homes, Cruden Homes &Mactaggart & Mickel, Dundas, Miller Homes, Robertson Homes and Shawfair LLP.
