Enabling works have commenced for the Shawfair Community Campus, an exciting new education hub that will bring together a primary school, secondary school and nursery under one development.
Located on the former Monktonhall Colliery site, adjacent to Shawfair Train Station, the campus will be one of the most significant milestones in the ongoing development of Shawfair.
Appointed contractors I&H Brown began works on Monday 11th May, with a 20-week programme now underway. The initial phase involves constructing two road bellmouths to provide site access, along with connections for drainage and utilities.
We are delighted to see activity on the ground and look forward to sharing further updates as this landmark project progresses.
