Construction Update: February 2021

1. Stewart Milne Homes plan to begin construction in March.
   
2. Edmonstone Track
   Shawfair LLP will shortly begin work to connect properties along the Edmonstone track to a new water main. The work will be undertaken by Waterwise with support from Akela Construction. Other connections and track upgrades will follow. Here's the key dates:
   

Mon 8 Feb
Trial pit excavated to test sample the new water main.

Mon 15 Feb – Fri 19 Feb
Excavate water main connection point within junction at individual house connection points within track in preparation for swapping over the supply.

Unfortunately, vehicle access may NOT be possible that week. Waterwise will call at each property to discuss what can be accommodated to reduce the impact on residents.

Mid-March – dates tbc
SSE/Akela to complete gas and Low Voltage connections.

Late March – dates tbc
Track upgrades to be undertaken by Akela
