TOWN CENTRE

Shawfair town centre will be a beacon for the entire community, providing an attractive hub for shopping, meeting up with colleagues, friends or family, or enjoying a drink or a meal. Spanning music and theatre, markets and festivals, exhibitions and sporting events, there will be something for everyone.

Public buildings will offer schools, libraries, nursery education and health centres - cleverly linked with shops, offices and places to eat. A mix of residential homes will also feature, so people can enjoy the convenience of living in the heart of a thriving community.

MASTERPLAN

Shawfair has been carefully designed so that the overall look and feel of the buildings, amenities and homes blend perfectly together. Even the water course ponds, designed to help drainage, encourage biodiversity.

Landscaped open spaces, and an excellent network of cycle and walking paths stretch across Shawfair, providing ample opportunities for families and friends to meet up, either informally or for planned community events.

Our objective is to encourage communities to be more active and to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible, giving a real sense of wellbeing and enjoyment.
